Hello..using a water based hydrolic solution on our PECO conveyer..have had mixed luck..recent proportioner did not last long at all. The last one we had installed lasted for 10 yrs + has anyone had issues here in using water based hydrolic fluid..and or luck in perhaps a product replacement that works well on water based...and is there a company out there that would rebuild these units? Has anyone had any luck here?

Assuming it is a "Flow Divider" to feed multiple Speed / torque controls? Never rebuilt one except to scavenger parts of some bad ones I had to make one good one. Also, once had a 4 bank go bad on a busy day so I put together pipe manifold to feed 3 banks and never put back a flo divider. Worked fine. I also found using a Hydraulic oil cooler (Water cooled type) seemed to help the longevity of all Hydraulic equipment especially water based fluid type. If by Proportioner you mean speed / torque control i it lever type for speed or knob type,

My practice is to use Hydraulic oil on the conveyor and water base on everything else. Check with Peco to see their recommendations.
