Pdq 4000 gearbox and motor

Hello,
noticed a bit of grinding noise coming from around the location of the gear box and motor of the trolly.
Changed the oil and it looked clean and no debri
i have kinda narrowed it down to it sounds like its coming from inside the motor almost kinda sounds like when your computer fan gets dirt around it and starts to rub on the debri
if i listen inside of the back cap of the motor, sprayed a little w40 in the back of the cap were the fan looking thing is and quited down then came back
it has been in the 20's lately and seams to grind a little more around the center of the gantry when moving the trolly side to side

any thoughts would be appreciated

any kleen rite replacement part for motor and gear box would help too its probable about that time

I understand and have had a problem with my High Velocity thats common is the keyway on the shaft wears out. The key is a metric special size. Sometimes they pull apart easily sometimes not!!

I had this happen back in the summer. Take the cap off the back of the motor. The plastic fan is likely broken. Throw it away and put the cap back on. Worked for me

Temps went up to 45 and quited down I noticed it when it was low 20s I'll keep an eye in it thanks for the feed back. Any suggestions on inexpensive gear box and motor replacement?

That were I'm headed in a bit and that was my thought let ya know tmrw. I'm basically refurbing one that I bought and got rear ended on when the guy disappeared after I got wise . So now it's me and u boys any advice is appreciated. Just spent my life savings on a 5 bay ss and a bairly refurbished 4000. Once again thanks for the help

Fan seems ok temp dropped noise back
Was quite for a few days. Definitely the motor screeching though and more in the middle of pass less on ends. Quites down after few passes. It's not terribly load only notice if just running on manual and no water.
