Mars validator $5 upgrade to all new bills?

I recently bought the $5 upgrade apparatus to upgrade all my mars validators at my wash. The upgrade went flawlessly. I recently picked up a used change machine that has a Mars validator. It was in a warehouse for the last few years and will not take any of the newer version bills. I was wondering if when I install the $5 upgrade if it upgrades the software for all the newer bills? Thanks in advance for your help.

Yep, All the upgrades are included with the$5 upgrade. I just heard that they are going to change the way the $1 bill is printed. I don?t know how acceptance of the newly printed $1 will be in the bill validators.
