here goes,,,,im not good at laser lingo or repapirs but```unit shutting down when galvanized pipe that attaches boom (in middle of bay) gets"in front of"galvanized pipe that attaches to bridge(from perspective of standing at laser entrance and bridge moving towards entrance). (in other words; troubles start when , main boom pipe (that goes to pump) is closer to entrance when laser begins tracking towards entrance) ---- can reorient everything and works fine for a few days,,,apparantly, hose is hitting wall when this flip/flop occurs and the resistence encountered shuts down laser...,,,,this description sounds goofy , even to me, but it as good as i can descibe it,,,this started recently- no new hoses or pipes etc,,,,any help appreciated....tia kemp c

Your boom is tying up. basically one pipe crosses another(usually from having the trolley in the middle of the bay ,and moving the bridge back and forth ,or moving the trolley left ,and right when the bridge is located over the middle beam)

there can be many reasons for this to happen.

*VT keep out zone needs to be set wider.(a small car can cause boom to ty up)
*One of the swivals binding up ,and not allowing the boom to move smoothly
* VT stop eyes going bad and the machine will run without a car in the bay ,and when it does it will stop short ,and the trolley runs under the overhead beam.
*It was tied up when moving manually ,and now the HP hose wires are breaking, creating a weak spot in the hose ,You will want to replace the hose ,when you idenify the problem.
*Boom is not following the bridge ,but is being "pushed". When the laser is idle ,the hose should curve towards the passsenger side wall.

* I have seen other problems cause it ,and you should need to monitor it closely to help figure out why it is happening

Watch it run and see if it follows the bridge smoothly(the bridge should not "push" the hose) and does not jerk around.

Is it a new problem?
