Yep. Compared to regular oil it runs a bit hot and needs to get changed more often

compared to other “non oil” hydraulic fluids it is comparable

We tried it (more than 5 years ago) and had a rash of hydraulic hose failures. Maybe completely unrelated, maybe just a compatibility issue with the hoses we use, I don't know but we stopped using it.
We use Aquablue, expensive but when we returned to Aquablue the hose failures went back to a normal rate.

Most hydraulic hoses are designed to have oil go through them. Water going through invites rust with the wire re enforcement and then ruptures.

No, they are made for 100R7 hydraulic hose and once they go on they are permanent.
