Gift cards for detailing has been a big part of the company's 4th quarter sales revenue for many years. This has held fairly steady year over year depending upon timing of Christmas (day of the week), weather and our open house sales, both pre holiday and mid-December.
Have you done anything new or consistently that has boosted holiday gift card sales?
Our best holiday promotion is part of 'Midnight Madness', a night of sales, entertainment and refreshments at 27 participating businesses. Runs 6pm-midnight. We use a 2 tiered discount based on time of evening they buy and did well with it this year, though snowy weather had us down from last year gross sales.
