I have a flojet that will quit working and I can disconnect the air and reconnect it and it will start working again. Is this a bad flow jet or is something causing it?

That's likely a stall, most likely caused by moisture in the compressed air. I put a refrigerated dryer on my air and I don't have any issues now with them. The istobal has these expensive SMC air cards that were very susceptible to moisture too so there wasn't a better option
