Are the 2 grey wires from the cc scanner to the coin common and coin signal on the led7 just so you can get a coin count from mycryptopay.com coin count status?

Is that the only function?

So if you had cc scanners on say bays, vacs, vends, there is no way to differentiate the sales for each?

Yes. The extra site analytics are for cash.

Cryptopay sells a swiper without a stop button, why would you want that on a vac? or anywhere else?

You would use those swipers to send coin pulses to an existing timer. People usually have it set so each swipe is worth a certain amount, like two cash startup cycles, and they have to swipe again for more time. They are also used on single electronic vendors.

I don't have Cryptopay, but I've installed them in a half-dozen different washes for others, the last one over two years ago, and none of them have replaced a swiper in the last two to four years.

In self-Serve bays how often do you have to replace the swipers?

The buttons seem to be the weak link but you can replace those with a little soldering of 24 ga wires onto the switch.

i have had cryptopay swipers for i am guessing 6-8 years (before they even came with the gray wires) and just had to replace one 2 weeks ago. i haven’t had any problems at all before that. the gray wires go to #1 & #2 on the led 7. you will only see coin count if you purchase site analytics
