Can anyone recommend a company that can re-sleeve a Cat 3535 manifold? Ran some low ph acid through it too strong and it’s washed out…

I.B., have you used that one? Do you know if they press in permanent seats or use an insert that requires an o-ring?

I’ve used IDS on several Cat 310 heads. They do a great job. They press in the stainless rings so that you use a regular seal kit.

I forget who it was that did the insert with an o-ring. I know a couple guys who used them, and a couple years later the manifolds washed out under the insert and were useless.

It wasn't Vilco. I've sent a bunch to them. It was someone Kleen-Rite used for a while.

It was vilco. I sent only one to them. The orings would not stay in place. Never could get it to work right. Have stayed with Kleen-Rite ever since with no issues.

You're right, it was Dynajet that did a good, permanent repair before they closed up shop.
