Thinking about reclaimed water , what are the positives and negatives?

3 100 ft bays 1 automatic truck wash bay and a Lube bay for heavy equipment to cars … southern Alberta … advice on reclaimed water … East of Calgary Alberta

Short answer, I wouldn't recommend reclaim. See if you can supplement the city water with a well. What's your annual rainfall, and can you collect it for use? The city usually charges for wastewater based on municipal water usage. Your water bill probably won't be too crazy expensive, unless the automatic bay will be touchless.

But you may require to work on assuring water quality and keeping the system maintained. Just keep in mind that the key to addressing any issues is ensuring proper treatment and filtration. Oh, and if you're looking for an excavator that is for sale, think about finding one that satisfies the project's requirements for water management in the truck wash and lubrication bay.
