This happened in Round Rock Tx at 2:00 on a Saturday afternoon. The door is designed to lift out of a slot when it's opened to be easier to work on - they just took the bill acceptor. Someone planned this.

That’s one of the prime reasons we no longer install bill validators in the bays, too much of a target. When the fail or are vandalized we don’t replace or repair them. Block off the hole and call it good. There’s an easier way to get the validator than the method they used.
