    Nayax- what does this mean?

What is happening when a Nayax reader shows this message? I know it’s out of service but why? I have a customer that gets this message every few hours. I don’t know enough about Nayax to give him an answer. I suspect it is losing the wifi connection to their network

    Foam cannon to clean ceiling

I desperately need to clean the ceilings in all my bays especially the IBAs. I have an extra SS bay pump that I use as a pressure washer with a really long bay hose to clean equipment etc. I’d like to apply some chemicals to the ceiling using a foam cannon so that 99% of the chemical doesn’t...

    Talos validator program card

I’m trying to program a new MEI Talos bill acceptor using the provided coupon. Everything is self explanatory except selection 3 and 5. Section 3 asks pulse width - gaming short, gaming long, vending short or vending long. Section 5 asks Harness Enable or Always Enable. My guess is I need to...

    Nayax doesn’t shut off

I have a customer that installed a Nayax reader on a SS bay. They claim it works fine except the Credit card doesn’t shut off/stop charging. Does anyone know if this is a wiring issue or a programming issue? I haven’t seen the unit or seen a wiring diagram, yet.

    Dumpster almost killer me

I was emptying buckets of sand from my SS bays (not pit mud) into the dump when I overloaded the front and it tipped over. I’ve never had this be an issue in my past 25 years. Thought I’d just throw it out as a warning to the young guys and some of the older guys that aren’t quite as nimble as...

Wunder Baum = little trees in Europe

Looking at Facebook post in a car group and noticed a guy from Slovenia had a familiar air freshener in his car. Zoomed in to see what scent and was a little surprised at the branding, Wunder Baum. I hadn’t considered that the iconic Little Trees brand had a presence in Europe...

Anyone still repairing MEI bill validators?

Like most people here I have LOTS of MEI validators. I just put my last replacement into service. My typical supplier sold me 2 Talos validators and says the MEI that I just pulled out of service can’t be repaired because they can no longer get parts. Is there anyone still repairing these AE2612?

    Carpet shampoo issue

I have a Fragramatics stand alone carpet machine that is giving me issues. I can’t get the chemical to draw and it seems like it is actually pushing air all the way to the bottle. I have a new hose and brush assembly, new tube in the peristaltic pump, and née pickup tube in the chemical. I’m...

This is how we do it in New England

We had a minor wet snow event. All day customers have been washing 3-4” of snow off of their cars. I just shovel it straight into the pit

    I’m an embarrassment

I try to be proactive with replacing wear items but this foam brush head is a little too far gone by anyone’s standard. To be serious, I think a customer used some wheel acid with the brush and destroyed it. I’m completely embarrassed that this was in use at one of my washes.

    Cleaning RayPak heat exchanger

I was working on a RakPak floor heat boiler today. The flame was coming out of the front of the boiler and not all of the burners were lite. I pulled the burner assembly out and cleaned all of the jets/orifices but the flame is still lapping up the front of the boiler. I don’t think there is...

    Replacement LED driver/ballast

I have a LSI Scottsdale light fixture that has an LSI LED conversion kit. It stopped working and I’m assuming it needs a new driver.
