Thanks to everyone for the replies - I appreciate it. Looks like Liftmaster is a good choice.

    Residential garage door opener

Asking my car wash forum friends for what they recommend at home. I’m replacing an 18 year old Genie screw drive at my house. Belts and chains seem to be more prevalent now. Is one better than the other - belt or chain? Chamberlain, Genie, Liftmaster? I figured someone must have done...

    Adding a WashWorld Profile

There are lots of options for lower decibels with drying equipment. Silencing packages, canopy, roof mount, attic mount etc.

    Low PH and high PH

Yes. See, the answer has not changed! 😆 Seriously- people do it both ways and some only apply high pH. Depends on what works in your climate and what the rest of your Wash process is like.

    Nozzles on WashWorld Razor/Profile

Could be, but it looks more like what PDQ did with the G5 model. It looks like they are turbo nozzles, not oscillators. Also - the separate soap manifold - and still using one arm instead of two. Certainly could have been influenced by what Petit is doing, but still kept it unique by...

Is this on their touchless machines or the Profile?

    JBS Billy Grote

I don’t know that name at JBS. I only know Scott and Marco M. There may be a Billy there, but I have not dealt with him.

    Would stronger presoak help this?

Corrosive is a label on products that means it can cause damage to certain materials. Those materials can be skin, metal etc. Both hi and lo pH products can be corrosive. You have to read the material safety data sheet to see what damage it can cause and at what dilution strength. Many of...

    Would stronger presoak help this?

Check for non - corrosive low pH products - usually labeled (nc). Also look for Citric acid an ingredient. Stay away from hydrofluoric acid. If you do this, you will not damage anything, providing you apply at the proper dilution. Remember, you can also damage things if the pH is too high.

    Parking Lot Income

Are you setting a certain amount of hours/days for the truck to be there, or did they come to you with that already in mind? And are you basing your price on their time on your property with the truck, or is it a flat fee you would charge?

    Top winder

Sounds like your counterbalance weighting might be off (not enough weight). Or your air cylinder pressure is not right. What type of equipment/system is this? What material is on your top wheel?

    Simoniz Ceramic sealant

Sure thing. The modern carnauba/hot waxes and ceramics that are applied in commercial car washes with spray arches offer incredible shine/gloss, protection, water beading, long term water repellency and leave a smooth feel on the paint and glass. To get the maximum performance on all off these...
