Good input from most.
Thank you Robert for the useful post. You make a good point about being proactive. Not reactive. I don't know about others on here but I need to be reminded of that strategy from time to time.
You offer an opinion and that's why I use the AutocareForum, to hear...
gee whiz ghetto that was quite a list. I think my town is bad but I could not imagine going in to work in that environment every day. What how do you keep yourself from getting negative attitude ? I would be sick on my stomach and bitchin and complaining til I was sick of myself...
is this a drying agent or poly sealant pass ?? is the chem pump coming on ??
print a config and change that pass in your programming. probly get you thru the busy time till you can really work on it
I haven't been up there in awhile but its just a plastic tee with some pushlock fittings in it. Nothin fancy. PM me a phone number and I will send you a picture
I have a local idiot I have used as a spinner several times. On a pretty day I can put him out there and he will fill the lot in 5 minutes. It will run a capacity til he goes home. $8 an hour and the customers love him.
Programming another relay takes like 1 minute. No wiring to change, its in the programmable settings. Look on the config report it will tell you exactly which tab to go to.
Unitec should be ashamed and embarrassed at the way they handle tech support for operators. They really want us to...
Did you try programming a different relay yet ? just wondering if that helped or too soon to tell. That sounded like a solid test to me.
Do you have to do anything to continue washing ?? or it keeps digging with no interruption ??
Also you might check for bad connection on that...
it sounds like maybe they removed the voice board and pressed the reset button. Is this what happened ??
also are you changing card readers ? or replacing with exactly the same readers ?
I can understand maybe the harness, but why the readers ??
just curious
Print a config report on your ws2 and see if the relay for your cheapest wash is activated. I think its should be relay #1. it might be #4 but I think #1.
In diagnostics on the ws2 you can also test the outputs on the machine, and the buttons also. If you have had the power off/or...
I don't know about the c start but I had a network problem with my WSII and pos last week. Similar circumstances and I about went crazy. If you suspect it is related to connectivity, try to reset in this manner.
- Unplug the cat 5 on both ends.
- Restart the modem. wait for all lights...
I'm sure you've checked this, and it may sound silly, but be sure the lights aren't accidentally being turned on in diagnostics. I have mistakenly left on various outputs over the years. Orsometimes stuff happens
if you have had new hands on the keypad
throw what ever she had picked up from there back in the trash. She threw those items in the car and I grabbed them as she drove away.
I have seen many many many drug transactions take place in the carwash trash can. Maybe he did too. I can see where maybe he did and it finally got to him
I would follow scouts lead on this.
I did fix my machine today but I will back out as the problem with mine was owner error and not useful to this thread.
"I've talked with a developer who said by what the survey shows (10,000 cars of traffic a day through the area and a population of 35,000 in the immediate 5 miles) that it would easily be achievable to get 30,000 vehicles a year through a 2 bay touchless wash."
This is much easier said than...
