    Credit Card Chargebacks

Yes, customer disputes the charge, my bank account gets debited for the disputed amount plus I get dinged a service charge. Thanks Bigleo for the heads up on the "No signature Account". I went over the paperwork I submitted to the processor and no where is a no signature account option...

    Credit Card Chargebacks

Each month I get several credit card chargebacks from my processor. They ask for the signed receipt to verify the transaction. I explain there is no signed transaction receipt, the customer selects the number of tokens, the equipment processes the transaction and issues them a receipt. High...

Foam brush super foamy or watered down?

Steady creamy flow. Too thick and it doesn't break down eventually, my cheap customers will just keep pushing it around when the time expires. At least at my wash.

    cleaning up at ss wash

Interesting talk. I know one operator who once told me that people don't expect much, so long at they get pressure when they pull the trigger they're happy. He's partly right, but he is probably leaving some revenue dollars on the table. Personally when I drive down the road and I see two gas...

    Dixmor Weepmizer~Fix or Replace??

Mine is going 10 years strong. One of the best pieces of equipment I have bought. Repair/replace (as mentioned probably a sensor) definitely worth having it operational. I'm sure it has saved me thousands of dollars. Aside from weep water usage, I like it because it reduces customers ability...

    Scum

I also get scum. I don't know if mine is an algae type scum, but in my tanks I often get this marshmellowy jelly type scum. I scoop it out and clear the screens. I'll try the copper pipe trick. I believe that somehow this scum originates from the compounds in the soap.

Optimum times for startup and bonus promotions

Well said. I think we're all beating ourselves in this business. Customers seem to think they are only getting water, but they'll pay $4 for a latte. The whole SS industry has to think $2 start ups as the norm.

    giving customers lots of pressure

Using 2505 tips 1200/1300 at the pump, 3/8" line to boom, 1/4" to gun. I have no scientific basis for setting the pressure, other than it feels about right in my hand. If it's flying away in my hand, I figure it's also too high for most customers to comfortably hold. Extra HP also puts more...

    giving customers lots of pressure

I run 1200/1300 psi. I find anymore pressure makes it hard for many of the lady customers to hold on to the gun with just one hand. I hope that sounds right.
