Wonder if it's designed differently compared to the Wobblehead? I would think the Wobblehead is a patented product. Maybe Mosmatic is just rebranding the Wobblehead as a Mosmatic product. If this is the case, my guess the price would likely be the same.
Their video should be using foam out...
For bay floors, is it be skid resistant?
If it is, an advantage re bay floor clean up.
I just cant see it holding up to the abuse of bay floors. But I really don't know.
Very interesting. Thanks for the link.
My wash runs on tokens, so my situation or solution is maybe different.
My changers have two hoppers each, one for tokens and the other for dollar coins. I sell my tokens for $2 each (would do $1 each if I were to do it over again-another story).
You put $5 in my changer, you get 2 tokens and...
Whale, yes it is possible that some sales could be slipping away from non use of quarters, but its like print advertising, you just never know what your actual return is from the advertising or likewise loss of sales from not taking quarters.
I think customers become trained to any wash on how...
Been tokens only since 1997 on all my equipment. No vandalism or break-ins. Never a complaint from a customer.
Now up to 40,000 tokens out there somewhere from walk offs.
At first I used to think these are people that don't like my wash and don't want to come back, but most likely they are...
Very valid point. I've noticed that my dynamic IP sometimes doesn't change for months. Yes I did see that option re the reboot. Didn't relate it to minimizing IP address changes, but would help that out. I don't have a PC onsite, but I could bring out my laptop and get the new IP when it...
Have the Zmodo. Paid $229 on eBay with 1TB drive. No issues, works great. Can't really complain given the price point.
Poorly written manual. Chinese to English translation issues. Mostly irritating. There are some YouTube instructional videos online.
I'm using my existing 14 cameras...
Thanks Pitzerman.
First, I'll do the self serve guy thing and try and figure it out myself, then I'll swear a little, then I'll call my kid, then I'll say to myself can't they just give me some decent instructions, then I'll drive home thinking about it and come up with an idea, then I'll go...
I just ordered one of these babies. Figured for the price you can't loose.
Hmm, I guess for the price, I'm going to have to burn a day getting this thing to work.
Don't understand, all the investment to manufacture and sell something, and these guys can't hire an american born university...
I like thoff's thinking here and where he is going. I know that in general when we look just at the self serve side of things, we think we are in the car wash business, but in reality we are not.
We are in the equipment rental business!! Customers rent our bay equipment and vacs to clean their...
I must have cheap customers. I've seen guys take twenty minutes to rinse their car with the trigger pulled using just weep water pressure to save a couple of bucks.
Weep Mizer has definitely helped, but when it gets colder and the weeps are on 50% or more, they will still use the wands or the...
Keep us posted. Looking forward to hearing how these actually work in the real world. Customer reaction? If they start bring their own brush, etc?
Are these the answer for those days with lineups in the winter? Back to the viagra brushes during summer? Interesting?
I'm up here in Canada, when the 1 and 2 dollar coins were first released I was one of those that grumbled and complained. For many of the same reasons that people down south are resisting.
I can say after 20 years with coins, I would not want to go back to the 1 or 2 dollar bill. I hate to...
But when the cops need your video, they will be there. Funny how that works. Two times now the local police have requested my video footage to review vehicle traffic passing by my wash in an attempt to establish a timeline and getaway path resulting from two gang homicides.
I know many of our...
I have tried to compromise with bucket washers. I have signs that say "No hand or bucket washing during daylight hours".
During the daytime if it is not busy I will allow a guy to use a sponge or bucket, but I remind him of the policy, and that if it fills up he has to put the bucket away, or...
WW, were the ir-660s mounted as in bay camera or used for a driveway? How high were the cameras mounted? I see their website states tags can be read up to 30 feet away.
Thanks for the feedback you have provided thus far. I'm thinking of getting one for my entry driveway so I can ID all...
