Where in Canada, and as mentioned by Bigleo, the distributor and the service you get is critical. It will make you or break you!!! Have you contacted PD Mclaren in Ajax?

When applying a 2 step high ph presoak only, the first step ph reading is 12-13 on the test strip, should the second step be the same or lower and what should the reading be??? Can too much high ph result in poor cleaning??

Opening day for our double Autec AES 425's

Finally opened our second site Daytona, consisting of 2 Autec's AES 425 units. loaded with all the bells and whistles. This time around we went with a 40' track in our one bay in order to wash Limo's as well. We would like to take this time to thank Junior from Autec Inc, along with John...

    Oasis XP hydrolic pump trips

Yes, this happened to us. Try adjusting the hydraulic pressure adjustment on hydraulic pressure valve. ( Ours was set at 800psi and was suppose to be set at 1400 psi). This was the reason the machine was getting stuck near the rear and aborting washes.

Looking for advice on used Autec AES-425

The Autec AES-425 is an incredible machine: reliable, consistent in quality washing car after car and is a true WORKHORSE. Ours is a loaded 2006 model, and because it operates like a rolls royce, we are now installing 2 more, in our new multiple in bay facility. 12000 washes is a joke for...

PS 1 Presoak Cleaner by Stoner

Has anyone ever used or heard of comments on PS 1 Presoak Cleaner made by Stoner. It's neither a high or low ph. Its PH level is 7.5. They say to apply it at a dilution ratio of 200:1. 2 step process with the same product. Looking at it for a touchfree bay.

    Bay Length

I WOULD ADD ANOTHER BAY IF YOU HAVE THE ROOM. OUR MULTIPLE IN-BAYS ARE 18' x 70'. 50' is good but we went 20' longer, for more drip space.

    Key Features/Carpet Extractor

We have been using the 8070 Mytee-Lite ll for 4yrs now and it has been a great machine. With only a 3 gal tank, you will have to refill when doing a mini van especially if it has cloth seats as well. Does a great job, but like a touchfree wash it all depends on what solution you are going to...

    Decent Car Wash Tips Article

I thought it was pretty close to the truth, operating a tunnel and multiple in bay. A hell of a better than the Mothers article.

    Touchless automatics

Any machine you buy, you will have issues. some more than others. With that said, you might want to check out Autec. If their touchless is built like their friction unit, ( the most reliable machine in the industry) you can't go wrong. Why touchless? Good Luck

Humbled By 1 Week of Downtime!

Waxman, Often we allow ourselves to get all worked up about things that, upon closer examination, aren't really that big a deal. We focus on little problems and blow them out of proportion. ... Whether we had to wait in line, listen to unfair criticism, or do the lion's share of the work, it...
