It seems there is a rash of this going around. I just had a customer call me as someone tried to drill out his Medeco locks on his WSII. If someone would email or PM me with the details on how to get the locks out, I would really appreciate it.
Thanks
Over the years I have installed quite a few Con-Serv reclaim systems. None of which are working today. You might want to contact Dean at Catec. He is a member here.
I don't know why your motors came without the correct mounting face plate, could be that they sent you the wrong motors? The motor you need is a 3OE868 (Grainger part no.) or a 3OE 861. You might check with KR to see if they sent you the correct motor. The key on the shaft is a woodruff key and...
dbrown, yes, that is what I'm saying. The drive motors will turn at different speeds if they are not both changed out. You may not see a problem at first, but when you start breaking wheels and have a problem with the tracking, then you will know for sure. And, yes, they are a pain is the a$$ to...
dbrown, I address the rebuild issue here on this thread. As for the motor not turning, it is probably locked up, which does happen to hydraulic motors. Sometimes you can free it up with a giant pipe wrench and a prybar, but it is probably best to replace it. Keep in mind that if you replace one...
I have installed several "used" machines. All are operating with a minimum of problems. I think a lot of the potential problems go away with a knowledgeable tech to install them and handle any problems that may arise at start up.
Went to the Mecum Auto Auction at the Reliant Center yesterday. Not to bid on anything but just to see the cars. Hundreds of "awesome" cars were there. Surprisingly tho...the Corvettes and Mercedes went for the lowest prices. Some really fine Corvette and Mercedes all went for well under...
Its been a while since I've worked on any Futura self serv equipment, but I think you can use just about any float valve, but you will need to resize the float rod because of the small tank.
Have you figured out what is going on with this Impulse yet? Does it really give you a "High pressure trapped" alarm? I have never heard of or seen "high pressure trapped" alarm. Could it be saying something else?
Reds, the double sided card reader does protrude from the face of the WSII. A lot easier to use than the old one sided card reader. Before installing the 2 sided card reader I would get 30 -50 "bad card reads" a day, Now I seldom get more that 1-2. Keep in mind that if you upgrade to the...
I've had the two sided card reader for well over a year now. On a busy day (80-100) cars going through the IBA, and with nearly 80% using credit, I rarely have more than 2 or 3 "bad card reads". Are my customers smarter than yours????
It could be that your weep and doors are sharing the same thermostat. Not uncommon for someone to wire them that way to save on t-stats and wiring, just jump a wire in the controller from weep to doors.
That small metal pad thing is what tells the controller whether the door is open or closed.
You need to ind the t-stats and see where they are set and if they are working. Just move the set temp to ambient temp and see if it makes the door open or close. All of these-photo eyes, sensor pad at...
No, the photo eyes do not have a temp sensor, there should be a thermostat for that. When the thermostat reaches set temp it will signal the controller to open or close the doors. The photo eyes are for seeing the vehicle when it enters or exits the car wash.
There should be a junction box in...
