I should have kept my opinion to myself. Within 2 hours of posting, my FloJet quit after over 10 years of service. Ha. That thing doesn't owe me a dime.
Anyway...
I purchased a transmission oil cooler, and mounted it on the air compressor. I route the hot compressed air into the top of the...
Cryptopay sends a "payment made" signal via the token wire that goes to the controller. Stated another way, when the card is verified and sale approved, CP tells the Hamilton via several pulses to the token input. It would be identical to inserting two brass tokens, and the token acceptor...
Ha.....You just triggered my unhealed inner child (or something similar).......
"Yea i read that now, lol! I'm at the wash and as soon as i try to relax, take a crap, and type someone knocks on the door needing 1 quarter for a dime, a nickel and 10 pennies."
What's with this!!!!
It's 2025 and...
I added a Cryptopay TapPlus to my ACW4.
On busy days, I get a couple of "double charges", which results in the next car getting a free wash.
The problem, I believe, is mostly customer related. They don't see the wash "approved", and continue to tap the card. Of course, the system can NOT...
I'm not sure where your issue is, but I'd start with the photoeye's.
Do you have an external control panel, or is your control panel integrated into the motor unit?
I've had the PanTron photoeye's go bad.....sometimes only "weak".
Is there ice or snow on the eyes?
My unit has the external...
Check eBay for "Denkovi" USB relay.
I installed this alongside my PC:
USB Four(4) Relay Module,Board for Home Automation - ver.2 | eBay
The relay board is wired to my Automatic wash machine to "reset", as well as toggle the highest wash.
I access my PC remotely (via home PC or even my...
A LOT depends on your ownership timeframe.
I've had my wash almost 30 years. At the 25 year point, my Cat 623's started needing replacement. (I've still got a couple still running). At my age, I don't need to get 30 years out of a replacement Cat pump....so I went with Arimitsu replacements...
The East Peoria pictures look like an old Super Wash automatic. Pro Equipment made the automatic machine for them. Simple, reliable design. Very few moving parts. Does NOT size to the car.
That is indeed a big mess just to run a vacuum.
The way the contactor buzzes like that.....is likely one of two things.
1-A bad coil on the contactor.
2-More likely, low voltage to the contactor.
It's hard to see from the video, but does your transformer have (what appears) to be an 18v...
Slightly off topic but, Kimberly, I see you have the same booms that I do. I don't know the manufacturer. I need to replace several "round bumpers" on the end of the boom. Do you know the item, and where to source?
I'm getting ready to replace all of my foam brush hoses. I always used a 3/8 low pressure hose, however, I see "coil type" hoses available for the Foam Brush.
They are more expensive. Are they any better? What size?
When I replaced my trough several years ago, I followed the advice of someone on this forum.
Make your trough "L" shaped instead of "U" shaped. One side of the "L" stays affixed to the roof, the other "L" is the lid. The two "L's" join to make a box.
Man, what a difference. When you need to...
I'm not sure it was stated correctly.....
The weep water should be connected, using a Normally OPEN solenoid. This is so that a power failure will fail to a protected state.
If the weepmizer is connected correctly to the N.O. solenoid, the solenoid is OFF when the light is ON, and vice versa...
