    Today's Break down

Probably needs splitting up between ss, conveyor and iba though. Or you would be searching forever if you were trying to use it as a reference to fix something

Ok, I'm going to admit I am looking at Chinese IBAs...

They are about $30k. They are ok for quiet locations or for locations with a short lease if you are handy with a spanner but you would probably be safer buying a used tf or a cheaper U.S model

I would not know. We chose Leisuwash as a friend in Australia had installed some, then we visited one in Holland. They seem more established than other chinese brands

I have 3 that are Leisuwash machines. They are ok....but we had to make many changes to make them work. With an American machine you would not need to change them.

    Washworld XR7

It can be on board or stand alone I believe. The Revv never had an onboard option so this is a big improvement.

Ok, I'm going to admit I am looking at Chinese IBAs...

I have 3 x chinese machines and luckily know enough so that I can make them work. They will be good for 5 x yrs and do an ok job, for Romania either a 2nd hand American machine bought in Europe or the new Washworld RX7 would be a good choice!

    Washworld XR7

The XR7 looks like the perfect machine for locations that simply wouldn't have the volume to justify a big spend. Same cleaning ability as a Razor but without the showbiz!

    Oasis I5 feedback anyone?

I don't suppose the Oasis I5 had a Typhoon or XP next to it also. I would be interested to know what you think of the Oasis touchless also Greg.

Adding a logo projector on an iba

I am planning on building a Transformer themed car wash and was hoping to add a logo projector to project our logo onto the windshield after the presoak is applied. Has anyone else done this? It looks good on a conveyor but I have never seen this on an iba.

    Oasis I5 feedback anyone?

I think that with either 1 step or 2 step presoak going on before the brushes, you would get a single pass with brushes and get a clean. No need for dwell time imo. pass 1 low ph, pass 2 high ph, pass 3 brushes with tri foam and rocker blast for wheels, pass 4 lava wax, 5 high pressure rinse...

Anyone ever bought or have experience w/ Hand CarWash?

3 x employees? over 7 days a week though would you not need 4 or 5 in total. So costs for labor would rise to $4,500 - $5,000? then insurance and maintenance...Pushes it up a fair bit.

Anyone ever bought or have experience w/ Hand CarWash?

Interesting thread, I have a client that is looking to set up a large franchise network in the U.S. Not sure how they can compete due to slow wash times

    The "Tools I love" thread

I recently got one of these doorsteps. It hooks over the catch in your vehicle door so you can reach the underside of your iba without a ladder. https://www.amazon.com/Rightline-Gear-100660-Original-Shark/dp/B07JMTVP9N/ref=mp_s_a_1_2?keywords=moki+doorstep&qid=1552860658&s=gateway&sr=8-2

Ok, I'm going to admit I am looking at Chinese IBAs...

I have bought three from Leisuwash. They are indeed rather cheap and for the money are pretty good. If you are handy with a toolkit then it could work well for you. Be warned though, back up support is an issue and they will not be as functional as a U.S brand. For 30k with lava foam, lights...

    Washworld Razor Toronto

Hi all, I am visiting Toronto with some clients who are keen to see some Washworld touchless machines. Does anyone know of any locations in Toronto with Razors or Revvs. Thanks

Applying presoaks with no dwell time in between. Rather, at the end??

I find that if their is no dwell between lo and hi then you struggle to get the eyebrow off the windshield when low is your first pass. Tri foam over the top is a great way of giving some show on a wash program and gives more dwell to the presoak, as long as it is a ph neutral foam and not a...
