I hear very good things about superoperator. Its a wash app that utilizes license plate recognition.
See www.superoperator.com
I havent tried it yet but am looking to give it a go.
For iba's - Cleaning the optic eyes fortnightly and descaling if necessary, spraying a lubricant onto wheel wash shafts fortnightly and replacing drive bearings every 2 x years. Greasing chains also. If its a friction wash I also replace the top brush lifting belt every two years. I dont bother...
Is not the oasis typhoon the fastest touchless iba wash? I have a friend in Australia that has installed one and is very impressed with the clean and speed. I think it runs two large cat pumps though, so many sites may not have the power capacity to install it.
In Ireland and the UK we have thousands of stand alone pay for use air machines. Most use a digital unit by a company called pcl. They make good money, but the thing that breaks most often is the air compressor. You are therefore better off having an air compressor with a tank, or running an air...
I am loiking into installing a number of touchless self service wash bays. I have visited some different sites and the concept seems to work well and clean well even without a foaming brush. Has anyone else operated like this?
I personally would not add a cable joint as it is likely to corrode and cause a future issue. You are better off identifying the cable in the panel, then disconnect it and pull it out. Trying to get the new cable through the ducting is a nightmare so I typically run the cable outside the ducting...
Im use a liquid citric acid at a ratio of about 200:1. It does depend on the strength of the acid you get and the quality of the water you have. It is a case of try it, then turn up the strength until you get results.
You will struggle getting a coloured foam as a detergent. When the dye is mixed with alkaline it massively reduces the colour. So if it says "colored detergent" its crap. The product would have zero cleaning ability and only used for lubricating brushes.
I see government washes all the time doing terrible jobs. They are mainly done on a tender so the cheapest one wins. Even if it is bloody awful. Procurement should not buy washes, engineers should!
Try going straight to Hydraflex. See www.hydraflexinc.com you can get an adaptor to suit. The only thing to check is if the soap comes out the same nozzles as the H.P. If it does you need v jet nozzles and not rotating. (The soap will not dispense evenly out the rotating nozzles!)
If they are rotating, you would do well to fix the hydraflex blast tech pro nozzles. I have hundreds of these on my washes. They work extremely well with almost no issues!
Could be metallic obstruction on the bay floor (foil) or a faulty home prox sensor. Try sweeping the bay floor first, then unscrew the cable on the home prox, spray the electrical pins with wd40 and re connect it, checking to ensure the sensor is not loose. (The home prox is found by removing...
