Kleenrite now carries PDQ replacement parts

There are so many ways to get free shipping at KR, don't think I've ever paid for shipping through KR

    Unstoppable Soap

Check for junk in the solenoid, even though it's brand new, could have stuff in your lines that is holding it open, even a stray piece teflon thread tape can do it

What would it take to upgrade from PDQ M5 to 360?

2nd thing the OP says is that new equipment not in budget, first suggestion is spend $200k+ on new equipment...😂

Pretty sure we scared the OP off, he hasn't been back since his original post

    Motor pulley came loose

Check your other bays to see how it should be. Most likely need bolts for the pulley to hub connection.

No high pressure soap in 1 bay

You're losing your 24vac hot signal for HP soap somewhere, get out your multimeter to see where you are losing it and work backwards from there. Most likely going to be a loose or broken wire.

    Need help with MEI

Yep, not kidding about spare validator, we have parts to basically rebuild all of our changers if needed. The changer is the lifeblood of the wash - can't have it down for days waiting for parts or stealing people's $. We bought spares slowly as we found deals on good used parts. The changer...

    Ceiling boom leak

Brass will last for decades in self serve. Most of the brass at one of our washes is original from 1991

    Need help with MEI

Make sure all your harnesses are plugged in all the way. If that doesn't work, put in spare validator and test.

    American changer

I've used him in the past, good guy for sure. For some reason I thought he only sold the kit with the power supply, I see the board only on his site now though. Thanks

    Ceiling boom leak

Using some brass crosses and tees will get your bay up and back in action the quickest. Can get at any hardware store. Otherwise, that looks like a SS manifold to me, but I could be mistaken.

    Need help with MEI

What kind of machine is this in? For us, if the mei is eating money, it has been that the wire harness slipped out a little bit and is not fully seated into the validator. Or you can send it in for repair.

    Zips files for bankruptcy

Take 5 had seen this issue about a year ago and already had decided to exit the car wash market to focus on their core businesses. Their exit was planned, they tried car washes and saw it didn't work for them. Their stock has done well after announcing their car wash exit

Anyone convert a wash to something else?

Never done it, but have considered it. Just saw a tunnel that was converted into offices in Tampa while visiting

Where did you get just the control board without the power supply?

    Nozzle Trade

We had 8-10 get freeze damaged, so those were junk. We can usually get them going with the filter screen cleaning you mentioned. Only have them in a couple IBAs, so not blowing threw them by any means. If the filter cleaning doesn't work, we usually just replace and move on. There is a company...

    Nozzle Trade

What kind of machine are these in? Any reason you need blast tec instead of another brand? We have been replacing blast tecs with giant nozzles as they go bad with good results, don't have enough washes on them to know long term reliability still though. But at 1/2 the price, definitely worth...

    Mark Vii GT700 Error

Low water presoak tank is F30 error. Is this a new or used plc? Is the PS tank filling automatically or did you manually put water in? Not sure how the tank level is measured, but if it's a Madison float switch like the 300s, those go bad a lot, easy and cheap to diagnose and change those float...

LED7 V7.30 and Nayax count up

Interested to know more about the coin count reporting via nayax. That would be great to add to our existing installations.
