I have put out four pots for the last couple of years. So far so good. If they get vandalized I take the view that they gave some joy for a while. I'm on the main street of my small town. I feel an obligation to try and represent the town with some beauty.
There's always some kid doing stupid...
It does appear I have a inline filter located in the carwash machine itself. Do these filters ever need to be replaced? I am assuming they are about 10 years old.
I am new here so take my advice with a grain of salt. If getting new equipment. Make sure you have a good service provider. They have made a huge difference for me as I get up to speed and learn what I can and cannot repair.
I will look into the smc drain. Not sure if the gantry has one. I will check later. I paid 603 for the new part which included 50 for shipping. Also purchased the kit for 218, which included $30 for shipping.
The soft touch actually uses the actuator about half as much as the softtouch option...
Keno, It lasted about 9,000 washes. The air does not have a cleaner or water remover in-line. Maybe I should add one.
I replaced it without problems. Didn't even need to adjust rotation.
To close the loop. In case anyone else runs into this. The part was not in the catalog, that I could find. The company did refer me to a distributor who will sell the part. I have heard this connection between the shaft and the spray bar can be hard to loosen. Any advice before the part gets...
I had this Turn-Act actuator install about 8 months ago. It has already started to go bad. Anyone know which
part I should order for the replacement? My searches does not come up with the exact model.
My service company says it is not covered by warranty. Charged me $1,500 for the part...
I'll chime in a say I have the wash select II. Purchased from prior owner and it was set up with Dial up. I upgraded to an internet modem. The sales person at card connect said he would reimburse me for the cost of the modem. cant remember exact price somewhere between 1,500 and 2,000. Once...
you mentioned the entrance and exit. Being you are in a cold environment. You will want that in floor heat extended past the doors a few feet. Doors can become frozen to the floor, even with this extension.
I am looking at maybe updating my price sign at my inbay automatic. I am looking into the possibility of adding a LED screen.
I could then add video of :
1. Current prices like shown but also
Short video clips or animations showing
A. how to enter bay so tire is on trundle
B. which way...
Turns out the sensor at the exit side had gotten damaged. From the track getting ground down. It was sending a bad signal. Again appreciate all your help as I learn how to diagnose this thing;)
How do you check the Pulse Counter? My problem has come back. It almost always fails on the last pass with the dryer. Once it completed but then travelled half way down the track and thought it was in its home position and ready for the next car.
Thanks for your replies. Just to close the loop in case anyone else has this issue.
The problem was the worn track. when the gantry moved to the home position it would then drift back about an inch and a half because the track was worn and made a slope. Grinded down the track and that appears...
New error code for me. GAH-S3 F020 Limit Switch input Exit Travel Limit.
I have had a good run of no errors but now this one has come up. happens about every other car so can't really leave the wash open.
Maybe unrelated but during one cycle. The power washers went on and off several time at...
Which type/model door do you have. I ask because I had a similar issue with my Airlift XRS Door. It was a door issue not the carwash. Signal was going to door but door did not react. Turned out a bad relay switch in the Door Control box was the issue.
