Coleman Hanna PowerPack Spare Parts list?

Overall, they're pretty reliable units. In addition to spare bay equipment (hoses, brushes, etc), I would keep a spare paraplate regulator and a couple of the stainless steel solenoid repair kits for the GC solenoids. Looks like KR part number is GCK41. The originals were nickel plated brass...

    Ceramic in S.S bay?

I'm using Quest Vantagloss Foamy for a SS ceramic.I have to inject a polish dye in it with a dual port hydrominder. It's pretty popular. It's an expensive product and frankly have never done a cost analysis but I feel overall it's a net positive and gets more use than previous triple foams.

    Canceling Membership Model

Can't help but Car Wash Guy is a big advocate of his program, maybe he can comment on what makes his program so successful. 3.9 average per Month doesn't sound like excessive/abusive. What is your estimated net off a person that washes four times per Month? I'm doing loyalty with an...

    KB selling

When it's time it's time. I remember talking with Galen Haddock (some older members may remember him) when he finally sold. He turned down a reasonable offer many years before and then the economy turned. IIRC he said it was nearly ten years before he got another good offer.

Checking In: Any Florida Car Wash Owners Affected by Recent Hurricane?"

Texted APW this morning and they have trees down at the house and they live in a rural area and will likely be without power for weeks. I am blown away by the damage caused by torrential rain in places in North Carolina that are several hour drive from the ocean. A couple of small towns have...

Checking In: Any Florida Car Wash Owners Affected by Recent Hurricane?"

Anyone head from Jim Gosnell? He is near some extraordinary flood damage in North Carolina. I understand many roads are closed and cell service is spotty in the Hendersonville area. member APW is in South Georgia near Valdosta

    Coleman Hanna Self-serve

Good units, don't get one with medium pressure pr esoak. I hear continual complaints about factory support so buy from a local distributor if you need tech support.

No it is the same one. That's the main thing the PLC does is triple foam and RO functions .

    Help with JC Spot Free

On the super saver the spot free is controlled by the PLC. I'm not sure of the specific wiring but last year I was having some issues and had to recently change my PLC out on a 1999 pump unit. The replacement PLC was around $600 or so IIRC.

Coleman Super Saver Experts and Consultants

The one on facebook looks to be a newer model, and the one in Alabama looks like it has had a couple parts robbed off it on the tri-foam system that will cost around $800 to replace. . In my mind 10K is a little high for a used pump unit that can''t be tested but it's not entirely unreasonable...

    Air Shammee 1 vs 2

Do you use the diskin trigger gun? I found that they overamp the 3 phase motor pretty badly when allowed to run with the trigger not pulled. I'm wondering if that could cause premature failure.

    Car wash pit cleanup

Pit mud isn't typically considered hazardous waste in my State unless there is excess silicone (mainly from tire shine machines in conveyorized washes) It's considered proper to pump or dig out and allow the liquid to run off until it is no longer in a liquid state, then it can be disposed of at...

I built an app in 5 minutes to stay organized-What Tools Are You Using?

So how expensive is it to have someone develop this, and maintain it? I talked to one maintenance app company at the ICA show and it was kinda pricey for a small business with just a few employees. But you could argue that productivity of an employee would indeed improve and the app would pay...

    Coinless Mobile

Using it and it works well. But Coinless was bought by everwash a few months back and it's unclear whether everwash intends to promote and improve it. A couple people have speculated everwash bought it for the technology. It's put me in a state of suspended animation, I really don't want to...

    Cryptopay one-time use cards

So I know very little about how this stuff works but I'm assuming they will have to come up with a way to generate unique QR codes and communicate them back to the coordinator or to the server? Each code would have to be unique or they could be copied and reused.

No, it's good for one time only, up to the shut off time programmed in your timers.

I built an app in 5 minutes to stay organized-What Tools Are You Using?

I'm in the market now for a to do list/maintenance app. I'd like to make a list for each employee and have them check off the list as it is completed. I'd like to see what they have accomplished each day. I imagine a PM list would be good too.
