Was gonna open Fri, fir 2 days of SUN!! City turned our water off, instead of asking us to shut down. Come back to open us today, & they had COLLAPSED THE FREAKIN VALVE!! Now gotta get "Okie Dig" to mark gas lines, then whenever they get that done the city can start on a new valve!! So gonna miss @ least 5 days of SUN, after the biggest snow in 50 years!!
Wth didn't they just ASK US to shut down?😰😡🙄

My manager asks em what they doing.
They said water levels dangerously low, & we couldn't wash cars. We had 2 outta 11 bays open! Of course im at school while they're doing this. NOBODY called the dam owner! They all have my cell #. Im 2nd biggest user of water, & auto draft payment, so never late.

Coach, I feel for you. Our small town has such an antiquated infrastructure that there were leaks in their lines everywhere and the City's water was shut off for a couple of days, and when they finally turned it back on, it was alternately for 5-6 hours at a time while they worked on fixing all the leaks. Cheetah suffered multiple breaks and freeze damage, including the line from the City meter to our site. Due to them shutting the water off, it was several days before we could get our plumber there to be able to test, and see where the actual break was. It's been a nightmare here. It was finally fixed yesterday on a nice sunny day; but WW can't get to the site to fix all the equipment problems until Wed. or Thursday because of course, they're slammed. More sunny days of business lost here also. Can't believe the number of calls I've gotten from folks wanting to know "when the car wash will open."

On top of all that, I just got a call from WW advising that although they were "planning to be here today", they now can't find the pipes needed within 6 of their suppliers, which seems to now be a big problem. They'll be running around all day looking for them, so now I have no idea when Cheetah will be up and running again. The hits keep coming!

I've started a claim with them for reimbursement of the cost of repairs. Am wavering on a loss of revenue claim.

Water turned on yesterday, Tue, @ 11:30am, & we went on to have our best day ever(even though we only worked 11:30---6:30). 142 cars! Me & the preppers finally gave out & walked away.Could've washed well over 200, both Mon & Tue.

We didn't have any freeze damage. We turned off the water, drained all the systems, blew them all down with air and then pumped RV antifreeze and windshield washer fluid into everything, turned on the gas heater and hoped for the best. We lost about 4 days of revenue.
