PDQ Tandem ProTouch breaks down. What was the issue?

yeah, could have been the top brush not at home or a brad proximity switch for the back bridge home flag, the way the front bridge just sat spinning on the rear quarter it needs to see the back bridge fully at home and brush in up position or it considers it a possible collision of the two...

    X30 switch life span

switches can last years or fail early like anything, also watch for rusting of reader bar flags if not stainless, as well as worn trolley rollers ,trolley gearbox shafts etc. also on vt units a bad x30 wire or picking up interference on the wire from running motors . I think measurement issues...

    Laser 4000 soft start solenoid?

http://www.washtec.com.au/deals/products/Solenoid-Valve-%252d-1%7B47%7D2%22-N%7B47%7DC-24VAC.html found this with a similar part number maybe she just needs a solenoid valve. No Idea where the soft start term comes from. and for gods sake don't buy it at the listed 588.90 Australian Dollars...

    Laser 4000 swivel leak

from what i've seen if it's leaking from the secondary hole that means the seal is starting to fail internally. putting a zirk or bolt etc in the leaking hole will only make it leak in the middle at the seal more unfortunately. sometimes it will last for a while sometimes it creates enough...

cat 3535, inlet pressure with unloader valve feeding inlet on m5

laser 4000s, m5's etc etc, the pumps are configured with a pressure relief valve returning flow to the inlet side of the pump as you have there. I agree returning to a baffled tank is better. I think the 3535 wants a max of 70 psi inlet pressure.

    LW 4000 Arch Removal

the idea of the dump valve was to allow for quicker purging of chemicals between passes, I have seen many removed and or plugged, Ive also seen a few with a 45 deg elbow and a nozzle so it aims at the vehicle and dumps on the right front corner. if the bay isn't real far from the equipment room...

Improvements/changes with laser Wash 360 Plus?

the 360 plus uses a proximity switch reading a sprocket now , like the pulse switch on a conveyor. and it has the ability to hit a mirror or trailer hitch and reverse resize and attempt to pass the object three times. I've seen it bump a bike rack on a volvo 2 times lightly and resize and wash...

Left side measure on LW 4000

now that is to say that the switch in the bay itself should always light when introduced to metal, but this signal travels in through the vt board and then back out to the input card , so you may not always see the x30 on the input card in the jo light all the time. because the vt is sending...

Left side measure on LW 4000

no idea, I mean the proximity switch is powered as long as the machine is on, and when the internals see metal it should close the contact and the light on the switch itself glows as an indicator, so you should be able to put the trolley anywhere left to right and whether its a flag in front of...

Left side measure on LW 4000

well if you are in the bay you should see the prox switch itself light up. But I believe the input gets taken in and dealt with by the vt in a different way. the reader flag used to only be on one side and I think I was told that the software in the cpu would need to be re worked to deal with...

Left side measure on LW 4000

to the best of my memory, the sonics once calibrated, sense the vehicle as it enters the wash this "measurement" is taken in directly by the vt board, the vt board deciphers the measurement and equates that to how many of the pulses on the x30 it wants to see as the trolley moves right to left...

Measure Eye Fail LW 4000....Happy New Year!

MEASURE EYE FAIL This fault occurs when the Laserwash® 4000 is parked at home and Input X22 is not on during a startup check. with VT the measure Eye is no longer used, it's just an erroneous message.

    Laserwash dryer question

if memory serves me, the docking dryer as well as the stand alone both relied on the door eyes to let the wash know when a drive off condition occurred. at the last pass of the wash, the mid limit flag does the handshake to start the dryer process by way of the dryer plc, if the docking dryer is...
